I was talking to someone about the depth restrictions while fishing at Timber Cove. I'm wondering how to comply with that rule when "simply fishing"?

The 180 foot mark is a long ways out there. You'd have to really try to exceed that. Put a mark on your main line if you are really worried about it.

Or even a SIMPLE solution 

I was talking to the lady at Timber Cove and she said she takes reservations for groups of ten or more. Would it be a good idea to reserve some room?

If there was a real group area that might be ok, but there isn't. It is a free for all there. We don't know where the tourney is yet, do we?

When I was there last weekend a AA group had taken over most of the campground. I got "overflow" that was parking on the side of the highway and pitching a tent for $40. If enough people reserved, the campground itself would be the group site.

You are right, we don't know where we are fishing yet. Assuming it is in that general area I will need to camp Friday night. From what I hear we could reserve at several different campgrounds and be close enough. I'm thinking more about having a place to camp than having a group site. How did it work last year?

Camp at OC dude. Tons of room and you won't get your ass run over on the side of the highway.
2 minutes away from wherever Ruben decides where the tourney will be.
