I just came across these today and I'm really curious.  My car doesn't have any good tie down places and this might make it much easier for me to car-top my yak.

Anyone here use these or seen them in use?  Any feedback appreciated!

I use them - works good. I place them on either side from radiator so it cannot move to the middle

I use the hood loops on my Kia. Just fold them in when not in use. Always ready.

Igor - thanks man.  Glad to hear they work well for you and they're obviously heat resistant if you've been able to use them next to the radiator!

Al(fredo) - thanks for the heads up! I'll check out my engine compartment tomorrow to see if the hood loops might be an option as well.

Looking forward to getting out soon!

If you can't bolt on any loops check these out. I've been putting them on lots of cars lately. Most newer cars are fully covered on the front with plastic panels and push rivets. These work great

thanks jbaker - those Thule quick loops look pretty much like the Seattle Sports quick loops at the top of the thread...  I wonder who came up with the idea first?!  either way, I'm glad to hear you've put them on a a bunch of cars with success since I also have a soft plastic bumper cover with nowhere solid to tie to!
