On cigarets that is!!! After over 20 years and 2 packs a day. Just want to say thank you to my ncka family. There have been a few post recently about members quitting smoking and that's what got me going. I was able to get my wife to quit as well we were spending about $100. A week. I started to quit on my sons birthday March17 had 2-3 smokes a day till the 21st and that was it. So thank you ncka once again you ALL made me a better person to myself my family and everyone I cross paths with.

On a side note if I didn't meet you at any of the recent delta or freshkats events. It's probably because I was standing way out in bfe trying to keep my smoke away from everyone else.
How did I not know I stunk so bad!!! Wow as a smoker you don't notice, but within a couple days you notice. Your waitress store clerk anyone who smokes.
I'm at the point now if I pass someone smoking I think wow it stinks so good!! Any ex-smoker gets that!!!

AWESOME!!!

I have only had one time since I quit where I thought I might buy some(after the first month that is)
I was really pissed off-forget why now- but I remember thinking man I am gonna go buy a pack....

anyways what I'm trying to say,is,I forgot I even smoked till seeing this thread or others.
It is gone...just not around at all...woke up today with no thought of a cigg....like every other day now...

good for you...

Congratulations, it is a major accomplishment.   I quit from a 2 pack unfiltered a day habit 10 years ago after 3 tries.  Food will taste better, the air will be fresher, you will have more wind and stamina, etc'

Just be careful in a month or 2 when the constant cravings are gone and you think you have it licked.
I thought since I was over it, I could just have one cigarette after a nice meal.  I was right back into it in a few days and had to quit all over again.

Good luck!
J

NCKA is getting closer to a smoke free organization; one smoker at a time.  Congrats to all who have quit the habit.  I quit 38 years ago myself.
