Just so you all know

There is one thing in life I can not figure out, and that is how to remember names.  I feel like a shmuck every time someone walks up to me and says hi Scott, and for the life of me I can not remember their name.  So when you ever see me at an event, please do not take it personal, it is just one thing I can not get my head around for some damn reason.  I have tried all the name memory tricks and none work.  So please, remind me of your names when I see my fellow brother and sister NCKA'er's, and I will try to remember.  It makes me feel really bad when I can not remember a name.

Trust me, if I didn't like you, I would let you know.  And so far I like everyone I have meet on this board, even though you all use conventional gear and BAIT!!!  Blasphemy I tell you, blasphemy!

My brope is always open for others to tag along with!

I have trouble remembering names and faces (or which name goes with which face!) .  I'm in my 60's and I still can't figure out most stuff

Same here.  If I seem stand-offish it's usually only trepidation on my part because I have walked up to someone who I thought was someone else so many times.  Either that or I walk up and introduce myself only to hear that we've already met...  usually more than once.

We should get permanent name tags made with our screen and real names on them.  It'll be one of the things we bring to NCKA hookups: buffet plate, name tag, uhhh kayak and everything else is optional.
