Does anyone here know Dennis Spike?

This past January I sent Dennis $200 for some kayak gear and haven't got it yet.  If any one here knows Dennis please ask him why he hasn't followed through.  He doesn't answer emails and has not been good at answering phone messages either.

Sorry to put this here but I'm running out of ways to get my gear.

I looked up John Madill and apparently there is a real person with that name...Sail dude in Michigan? We are way past April 1.

John, if you read this, you can use the "search" in upper right corner of the page to look up "Spike."  View his posts and those threads to see why I am emoticonilly amused. And, sorry for any loss you may have suffered.

He is still registered as a member on this board, but has not posted ever since the moderators and Admin told him he could not post anything that involved money, trades, or barter anymore.

Feel free to pm me for further info.

So, this board is probably not the best way to contact him unless someone with his private phone or email steps up?

My advice to you is to stay on him if you don't mind the effort of pestering someone.  I pestered Spike over a deal, and he eventually made good.

Please update us if you will... he does pop up periodically. Probably overwhelmed but I'm-n an optimist. Seems like a trend... Adam is right, Keep on him...

Just curious, how did you end up posting on NCKA?  Doesn't seem like the deal originated here, and just wondering how you went about making this deal with him.  If you used a credit card, best bet would be to report it to your CC company and they will do all the hard work for you.  Hope you get your goods or a refund at the least.  Don't give up, $200 is no chump change, good luck.

My bet is John did a little research about Dennis, tracked him to Northern California, and then found us.  Probably trying to exhaust all avenues and resources.

Maybe he would if he could collect the $200.
