Nice! Have fun yanking smallies out of Cottonwood Creek too! Let me know if you wanna do a float. I have access to a private lauch around I-5 bridge on Cottonwood creek. Can fish the creek all the way to the sac and pull out at barge hole or further.

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

I have lived in the area most of my life and have had a home in lake California for most of the last 15 years. We have landed countless Bass in the local lake. I can be a pretty lazy fishermen, I head down and fish from 6:30 to 8 land a few nice fish and call it a night! You get kind of spoiled fishing there...

Let me know and I will be happy to join you. I have a pair of kayaks and they are always loaded on the trailer ready to go!

I spend most days behind a desk so I find fishing a great way to end the day!

Sounds good, fish river in the morning, fish lake in the evening, in the A/C hottest part of the day. Retirement is sounding pretty good. I am close enough to both launches plan on buying a kayak trailer for my bike.

Do you ever launch at the campground?
