Had been comparing them instead of gopro et all... Someone must have looked because They bought one and dropped it off in my office. Don't know who but thank you!  :angel9: :angel7: :angel9: :angel8:
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Sweet! That is on my wish list but I haven't done any research. What kind did you get?

Olympus is a good name. Not a bad price. I'll have to start dropping hints for my Bday.   :smt003

Put a float on it. Not the kind that has a quick release snap. Those release when you don't want them to. I just use a small piece of pool noodle.

I had an older one and it's working great for 2+ years!

The Olympus Tough cameras are AWESOME ! In addition to a GoPro, I have the Olympus T-820 model (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007J7J120/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?qid=1398306382&sr=8-8&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70) and love it. The simplicity of the GoPro is great, but if you want really high quality pictures/video, some cool shooting/scene features, and a very rugged body, the Tough models are great.

Thanks for the info about the float as well - I'm ordering it right now. Much better than the clips and cables or odd pool noodle setup I had going. Very nice.

They also make cheap screen protectors that, given the rigors that these cameras often get put through, are a lifesaver in keeping the display screen clean amd scratch free. I put a nice scratch in mine before getting clued into the protectors and have been kicking myself ever since. A cheap investment to keep your camera in top condition.
