I have spent the entire day laying on the couch watching football. This is the first time I have turned on the computer, other than to answer a question this morning.

It was a very long day yesterday and I want to thank all of you that attended and stuck it out till the end. I will give a more detailed report tomorrow but did want to get on here and once again thank everyone for supporting this event and the charities. Also to congratulate the winners and the also rans, everyone that entered is a winner in my book. Of course not everyone got a kayak to take home. Huge thanks to those that made the long drive down down from the North and out from Vegas.

Thanks to all of your very generous contributions we raised over ten thousand dollars. I don't have the exact numbers yet and it may be more but that is absolutely insane.
With the $2 per entry and the raffle of the kayak for Steven Blackwell (chefstephano) we raised close to $2000 to help him with his medical bills.

All of your generosity has really touched my family. I wish I had more time to talk with and meet more of you yesterday. I would of liked to shake every ones hands and thank them personally for being a part of this event and coming together in the great kayak fishing community.

We had 180 kayaks on the water yesterday which is certainly a record for an offshore charity kayak fishing event. As always we learned a lot about putting on the event and hope to make it even better next year.

Thanks a ton to the Sponsors and to Drew McPartlin of Raptorrubs.com for catering the event. I understand the food was great, I didn't get any and had to stop for Mexican food on the way home.

I hope you will all take a minute and let the sponsors know how much their support means to us. Don't forget to mark you calendars for this same weekend next year, for the fifth annual Steve Moyer Memorial.

Thanks again, I will post the full results tomorrow.
