Today was truly an epic ski day.  First; about knee deep powder everywhere!  The kind that won't make snowballs because it was too dry.  I spoke to ski patrol.  Moisture content was 8%. (means it would take 12.5" of snow to make 1" of water.) I would follow someone skiing in front of me and the snow crystals kicked up was like breathing dust!  It hung in the air for a while.
Second; almost no one there.  I skied over in the West Bowl and for the most part, maybe would see one or two skiers during a run.  No waits in lines, no one to share a chair with.  Just me!
The high temp in the parking lot when I left was 23*.  There's more snow tonight and I'm going again tomorrow!  I took a camera, but was having too much fun to snap any photos.  Tomorrow I will.
