We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

Great stuff!   :smt001

It's about being there.  And today it's about getting that video rolling too.  Recently we had an earthquake that lasted a full 30 seconds here in Humboldt - big but amazingly no damage anywhere due to the nature of the rocking.  I realized I should've gotten the video rolling to capture it!  My 10 year old boy was screaming in terror from under the kitchen table, my wife the teacher was getting him to count to pass the shaking, and my teenage girl was kinda kicking back like "big deal..."  It was classic, and I am now determined to get it on vid next time.

When a whale swims by the pier you're on, get the vid running!  Well done.

Hmmm,   I wonder if that's the same one that passed through last year... with a Big Hammer in it's lip.
