Great news indeed!!

This little girl is my pride and joy!!! Working the swing-shift, I raised her for the first 3-4 yrs of her life. We often would always get in trouble galavanting around by either my wife, my daughter or both; but we didn't mind, the fun we had more than made up for it.

The hardest part of raising her, was having to watch her cry ever night as she had to take nightly injections to keep her iron levels down; her cry was so unbearable to me, I often left the room. They since replace the injections with pills, so the nightly cries have gone away; but the transfusion every 21 days, were just a hard on this little girl.

That's why we were elated with first the finding of a possible donor, then hearing about the match (12 out of 13 tests) and finally, the donor's willingness to go through with the procedure. Although she may still have to take some form of daily medication, the transfusion should stop.....

So please, if a donor drive comes up, please participate; be a donor!!!! You can a life changing experience which has no equal....

Lastly, to those who came out last year to her donor drive and/or who donated to her foundation, thank you very much! You have my utmost gratitiude for life!!!
