To anyone visiting the store, I would like to know if they sell 16 oz inline torpedo weights and, if so, the price.

most of the items aren't labeled with a price so watch out when the Boss Lady isn't at the front register.  Her hubby likes to make up prices  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

+1 it kind of sucks having to ask "how much" for every item though  :smt009

Sounds like the little grocery store in Aromas.  Doesn't scan anything, no price tags on anything, no receipts unless you ask & IF, and only IF, you ask, you just get one with a total on it.  Dumpy place but they drive a Tesla.  Hmmmmm   :smt011  And to the owners of this grocery store ... for the last time ... I am not your buddy. :smt013

That aggravation is also the charm of the small mom-pop stores!
the other end of the technology spectrum is "assisted" checkout, i.e., tech checkout, self checkout.
prolly more opponents to that then the personal engagement with handwritten receipts!

It's my favorite tackle shop.  The lady owner's name is Mai and she will order fishing supplies for you if they didn't carry them.

I have been going to this shop for atleast 15 years.

Has Fishery Supply been on Story for 15 years?  It reminds me of a place that used to be on Capitol Expressway and McLaughlin that either went out of business several years ago or moved.

I think that might have been Ly's fishing goods but they moved to brokaw road near the 880 ramp and have now since closed. I think he picked a pretty bad location over by brokaw bc his shop was in the corner and was very difficult to find.

Yup, that's it, thanks.  I've never been to Fishery Supply but based on what I've read here, it sounded much like Ly's.  Sorry to hear that they didn't make it.

Will have to visit FS.

Ly's was better than fishery. when he moved to brokaw he had a bigger space to work with and converted the back area into a machine shop.  Last I heard the machine shop was way more profitable (and it gave him more time to actually fish) so he shut down the store and focused on that end of the business.  That was a couple years ago though, I drove by the other day and the Ly's signage is still up so I think he's still occupying the space.

Hope Ly is doing well...  He taught me how to catch my first trout when I was shore pounding!
