Late report - Louis Packard Hospital 9/4-5

Wound up with a good sized specimen of Homo Sapiens. 7 lbs 12 oz and 20 inches long. Mom and baby are both doing great but are both still in the hospital. I'm running errands for the stuff we forgot, as we were at a movie when we got the call to come into the hospital for some tests, that later turned into a delivery.

Oh yeah, no C&R for this one, he's a keeper

I work in the neonate and peds ICUs there and my wife and I are expecting a new fisherman ourselves in the offseason

Scott, I haven't met you yet but I am sure I will some time soon enough. Congratulations. I wanna see that catch lying there next to a ruler before I believe it!  And weighed on a scale in the pciture iwht a newspaper dated page But I'll understand if you can't--my wife wouldn't let me photograph my daughters like that either 

Seriously though, welcome to Papa-hood. I have two daughters and I'd do it again in a NY minute. Enjoy fatherhood--it is a precious gift.

If he turns out to be half the fishman you are your wife is going to have a constant supply of fresh fish.  Welcome to the joy of parenthood, it makes you look at life a lot differently.  Take lots of pictures...they grow up really fast.

Congrats!!  The good thing about having a boy is that you only have to worry about one rod, not all of them.    (okay, I should be flogged for that pun, but it was too easy!)  So I guess a tandem yak is in your future?
