Anyone have one laying around? Looking to get the Wife and Pa out on the water more and this would solve that.

OR you could install a AI Sidecar? 



I would be very concerned with the amount of drag generated by the sidecar. Since it is only to one side, the AI would want to constantly go left as pictured. You would need a hell of a dagger board and rudder to keep the AI going straight.

The extra drag would also put additional torsional stress on where the akas attach to the AI. You might have to reinforce those mounting points so the akas do not get ripped out.

Actually with the sidecar twice as far out from the AI, the torque from it is doubled. Even worse problem. :smt012

Call John at Windtoys in Santa Rosa.  Tell him you what you are interested in and he will meet you at Spring Lake for a test drive.  I have one and love it; my wife will even go out with me sometimes!
