Congratulations Allen. Finally the closure to that chapter of suspense. It is a sad thing to se so seasoned an angler have dry spell knwoing it was lack of skill or experience but just random bad luck and timing. Makes me wonder how long until my first legal Ling or Halibut. Still skills must be learned and earned so Zeelander and I were out of Delmonte Beach today. No Ling or Halibut but good stringers of Rockfish and learnign that Kelp anchors can be handy.

Way to go Allen... you can now wear a red hat again without being mistaken for this guy

Hoping I can run into a halibut this year as well... they are a tough one to get dialed in this year... that's for sure.
