It was gnarly.  wind, rain, giant waves, huge current.  But no weeds in the water and we each got one about like this:

Alien- We hit Moss for nada, though Mitch pulled one in down there.  then we went to Z beach.

BTW for the record, my perch was at least 1/3 again as big as Sansano's.  At least 6 inches!!  so I get the trophy for the day.

Frank Davenport Landing has worked for me for big striped perch (really big like 15-16 inches)  Off the north rocks hit the deep spots, I used whole GULP sand worms.  And, Beeeeee Carefullll   waves are still big!  Four Mile is also a good bet, off the beach or the rocks.  But double check it might be within the Natural Bridges SMR now, which prohibits fishing from the shore out to 200 yards.

Pretty sure 4mile is a no-take, no-fish zone unless you are 200' out from the mean high tide line, or if you are on the other side of the main point. Part of the Nat bridges SMR as you said. Not that the state has ever posted any signage about that :smt012.

Try the fish alerts app on your phone. It's free. Shows restricted areas  and your current position.  I use it all the time while fishing,  just to make sure.
