Plan on things getting rolling at 9:00AM. I will be there early. Gates open at sun up, and I have keys if need be. As far as camping goes, you can crash in the parking lot of my store, otherwise there are a few RV parks in the lodi stockton area. KOA on the Delta is nice. Wish we could have the same spot as we had last time, but I dont have those kinds of connections.

Can someone make salsa for the breakfast tacos? Something made from scratch with love that won't make people cry. We need at least a 1/2gallon and we can reimburse for the ingredients.

VK, we could carpool and you can help me with breakfast, then we can go fish. I always feel a little more brave and adventurous when there's a corpsman around.

Check with Chevy's! They have donated salsa in the past for soccer ect... Good! Chips too!!!! Pick up sat afternoon... Ready for sun morning... (I can't make good salsa)

1 gallon of Fresh made Custom Tasty Chevy's salsa with the heat toned down a bit. I can pick it up and bring it on ice if that will do... $30.00 (can't make decent salsa for less than that) They might even Donate it... (pending Manager approval.)  530-887-8649 8:30 till 5pm Ron.  Let me Know, they said no problem, even pick up till 10pm night before...

Is that Charley Almassey's boat?  He WAS the W.M. sponsored bass boat back when I worked/fished with him @ W.M.  After he left, I thought that he/they pulled the wrap?  Maybe they got a new "golden boy".

Thanks Weimarian but if we don't have anybody with salsa skills, I can pick some up at my local mexican deli or if i have time,i can make some.

I've got Vets asking the same thing...

Pull out the stops!!!

This event is going to be HUGE,,,  I've been getting e-mails from Veterans all day… I would say were going to have easily over a hundred participants… put volunteers, therapist, family etc.. etc.. this baby is going over 200 people easily…


My biggest concern is two things;

*Getting waivers signed… this is extremely important for many reasons

* Making sure that every person on the water is safely suited to be on the water and has proper support if needed.  Were going to need several people on hand at the "launch zone", getting vets comfortable and being sure they are ok to be on the water and have a guide if necessary.

and, if you are bringing gear for the vets to use…. and this is very important…  at the end of the day… it's a smorgasbord of equipment on the banks...
