I've given a few away to fellow members.  Not sure if they used them or not,  Maybe they will PIF them if they didn't use 'em.

Not sure how I like the lowrance scupper kit fits the inset on my trident 15. The transducer extends outside the inset. I'm rethinking the decision.

I tried the DIY scupper mount and the transducer is too wide to fit into the tracks under the hull of my tarpon 140. Bummer

Just going to goop it in the hull! Goop is great.

Here's a pic of mine in the scupper well with the mount kit. Too far back and does not sit within the well

Yeah I don't think the trident was made to fit a lowrance skimmer ducer.is it possible to remove the plastic top part of the ducer to make it more flush? then just goop it in on the topside?

I have been looking for info n cutting off the bracket so I could do something like that. I am afraid that cutting the bracket may alter the integrity of the transducer.

I don't think it will; however it will hurt the resale value of the transducer in the future I'm sure.  I saw a guy who cut one off online, he did a ton of other things to make it fit, but cutting off the plastic bracket was the least of his issues:

I have  had mine for about a year now and given the chance I would goop it in the hull or do the water method in the hull. I will miss getting the water temp but I am constantly having to adjust my transducer all the time to get good good images. Just my 2Cents. I think it is a very good idea but it is pretty kayak and transducer specific. Mine is mounted on a tarpon 130T.

I don't think I am too worried about the transducer resale value. I have some free time this weekend to try. I think I will shave down the bracket and modify the attachment on the mount to move it further forward and closer to the hull. Why not try.

Old thread.. I also have WS Tarpon 130t and looking for first-hand experience on mounting  transducer. Does your scupper mount still work / any solution to having constantly adjust it? Thanks!

My modifications have held fine. I check the angle and attachment prior to each dive and I haven't found any movement. There is a separate thread that I describe the steps I took.
