All,

I'm working on it.  I am thinking that we should have a virtual tourney on Sept. 10 (sunday).

Loch Lomond closes on the 15th so any that want to meet up at that venue (where I will be fishing) is welcome.

Shore lunch if you catch it!!!

OK,

I'm setting it up with Bill today.

The first Money For Friends benifit Tourney is Sunday Sept. 10th.

I will personally be fishing Loch Lomond for this tourney as it is the closest body of water that has a chance of beating anyone fishing Rancho Seco.....

Format:

Entry: 10 dollars entry fee, all entry fees go to the Chef fund.  Paypal entry will be set up by Bill.
Date: Sunday Sept. 10th
Location: Wherever you want to fish for LMB
Victory conditions: Longest (length in inches) LMB.  Date stamped Digital photograph of fish with tape measure or digi photo with date evidence (newspaper etc.) posted on this thread at the conclusion of fishing.
Time: Sunrise to sunset on Sept. 10th.  Post results to this thread.
Prize: Custom Tie Dyed chefs hat.  On order now, patience may apply.

Let's get 'er going!

I forgot that kayak connections tourney is that day.

Lets move it up a week.  That would be the 17th.

You'll have to find a different place to fish!

17th works for me.

I plan to fish at Rancho Seco.
Gates open at 7am, so I'm going to look into reserving a camp site. That way I can hit the lake early.

Thanks for putting this together Mol.

GREAT idea; I'm in. I'll be announcing the lake that holds the winning fish at a later date as I have yet to decide where I'll be fishing...Been over a month since the USS Halibama has seen fresh water; can't wait. I'll need some practice. Again, great idea...

Thanks Bill!  I'm all signed up.

That turns out to be the last day of the fair, but I think I can squeek in my tourney fishing in the morning.

Folks, there is a minor typo on the paypal page for the tourney.

The date for the tourney is SUNDAY the 17 of sept.  That is next Sunday not this Sunday.

The paypal page says the 10th, but it has been changed so we do not compete with the kayak connection tournament.

Just signed up. Thanks for the opportunity to fish for the cause.
Clear Lake will be my lake of choice, now I just have to figure out how to initiate the time/date stamp feature on my camera, if it has one.
  Anyone else fishing Clear Lake?

What about a size handicap if we fish for smallies?
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Sorry, this tourney is LMB.

I'd be willing to take a SMB with no length modification, but for this tourney I think we are gonna stick with LMB.

We can alter the format on others upcoming by concensus.

I'm paid and ready to fish!

I'm having second thoughts on where to go. Rancho...Delta...??? aarrrgggg....
Don't want to drive to Clear Lake, but I have a hunch it will produce the winning fish.

Any other Sacto or Valley people entered?
