After this weekend I need new waterproof (non insulated) boots. Any ones you guys like?

I had to google insulated vs noninsulated, and I'm still not sure what the difference is.  I like my Boggs - simple, warm, can get water all through them and dry them repeatedly - great over drysuit, great for mileage on riverbars and beaches...

Keep those feet warm!   :smt001

Yeah not water shoes. Actual hiking boots where you want too keep the water out.

With the right legwear the Boggs can be that too, and likely more comfortable.

Keen boots are very comfortable. I'm not sure actually how waterproof they are but so far they've been good.

For everyday use, I wear Merril Moab Mid Goretex boots.

For heavyduty bush work, I used to wear Matterhorns (carried over from the Army).  Now, I wear Danners.  They're the last heavy boots I'll ever buy because they have a program where you can send them back to be refurbished for less than a pair of new boots.

When One Sport ceased production of the Moraine (the full grain version) I bought 3 pairs (Around 1998).  Last year I wore the final pair into the ground. When I went to check out new boots I was disappointed at the lack of single piece leather boots available.  After much consideration I bought Zamberlan Vioz GTs, and I have been very happy with them. I wear them for work and wet weather.

I also have a pair of Alico Tahoe boots.
Very heavy duty boot.
I got them for wood cutting and thick no-trail booney crashing.
They are heavy, but they last forever.

I like my Carolinas. They last a long time and are comfortable from the get go. Im very hard on boots and shoes, and these seem to hold up.

It depends on what type of foot you have Eric.  Most boots can be waterproof with goretex but that doesnt mean they will fit you well.  I have found the german boots to fit my high arch feets the best.  Hunting this weekend I was wearing my Lowa boots and my feet stayed dry as can be.  They were the only piece of gear that didn't soak through.  Sierra trading post has the Hanwag boots for sale too, also very good german boots.  Usually the less seams in the boot the better.  The seams are where the material will fail and the water will get in.

For hiking and off-pavement, I have been really happy with Vasque Clarions, very dry. I used them for work, too - construction and founfcthey did well on residential but not as well on commercial (too much psvement /concrete) as the sole tread wore fairly quickly.

I'm interested in MBP's German boots, gonna check those out!

Yeah I need to try a few at REI and some other big box store. This weekend was a real test for "waterproof" anything.

Have you ever seen or tried this stuff?

http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/204216476?mid=5eQLq2H6%7Cdc_mtid_8903alh25183_pcrid_3897579358_pkw_NeverWet_pmt_e&cm_mmc=SEM%7CTHD%7CD24

I have tried it on my boots. It works well. It slightly discolored my boot and wore off after a while, but repelled water for quite some time.
