Constantly checking the weather forecast to see if there's an opportunity to get on the lake without being blown off/drenched.  Yesterday the snow was blowing sideways.  Today it's absolutely POURING rain sideways.  Tomorrow is supposed to be wet...but maybe not as windy.  Could be an opportunity to get in a couple hours of morning kayak fishing.

Stoked to see all this moisture though  :smt007.

Breakdown and rebuild all my reels, while watching the Olympics. Anyone know if Alan Tani is doing those free reel workshops anymore?

I too cleaned out the freezer, this one in the garage.  I found a 12 pound untrimmed brisket in cryoseal dated November of 2010.  So I thawed it out and it was nice and pink with no off or old odor.  I tossed it in the smoker this morning.  It smells like heaven!  Should be done in 14 to 18 hours; tomorrow morning some time after midnight.  Then I'll foil it, wrap in insulatin, toss in the ice chest and let it rest for a few hours.  Then carve some up and have it with my eggs for breakfast, then vac seal meals out of the rest.

Working today and tomorrow on my motorcycles; I have  few classic 1970's bikes that need the tank derusted, new tires installed, carbs rebuilt, etc.  I love having a HEATED garage!

Our son asked for us to go to Reno for his 15th bday to play in the snow. Our daughter is turning 8months old as well on the same day. Wife loves shopping in Reno and I love Cabelas and Scheels!! Win-win!

1. Do whatever the wife wants me to do
2. Change out some hooks on various crankbaits and other lures
3. Might install an anchor trolley on the Kilroy
4. Plan out my next fishing trip
5. Pack for said fishing trip
