I have had AT&T for many years but have never really been happy with their coverage.  T Mobile has an offer that will pay early termination fees if you switch.  They're rates look pretty competitive and there's no contract commitment.  However, the 2 year financing of the phones is pretty similar to a contract since the balance is due on the phones at the time service is canceled.  Does anybody have T Mobile?  How's the coverage in the East Bay and North Coast?

My wife had T-Mobile for a few years .....  NO, NO, NO.  Did I mention ... NO.  Poor coverage, worse customer service.  They were constantly making billing errors (same error over & over again) & they took months to fix the errors & issue credit(s).

Happy with Verizon for now.  Costly but we use like 10-12mb of data monthly since we don't have home internet.  Customer Service has treated us well one the few occasions I've needed to contact them for assistance.

Just my opinion.....

Verizon is the top carrier right now.and they are expensive. Me and my wife's bill is 200$ a month.I have xfinity for the house when im home otherwise im sure the bill would be a lot more.cause from dusk till dawn my wife has her phone in her hand
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Only times that I have ever had dropped calls is when I'm talking to someone who has AT&T. I have Verizon. A bit more expensive now that I finally lost my employee discount (retired for 3 years :) ). I'm satisfied with the service.

I used to have tmobile and the coverage sucked. I couldn't get signal at work, in the elevator, the casinos, etc. switched to AT&T and haven't had any problems since

I have Verizon happy. I do not have all the crap internet on it. So it isn't bad as far as price. I traveled through yellow stone to Idaho and back. I think my coverage was good.

I use Sprint and it seems to work ok. I have unlimited talk, data, text and hotspot. My work pays the bill ( nice little benefit there).

Also, just received a new Verizion hotspot Mifi for data while traveling. That thing loads fast and has good coverage.

^^ this I have a small town cell company but we share antennas with Verizon and vise versa way the best coverage in remote areas. Sounds like the plans are about the same as well.

+1 for Verizon, I often find I have signal when those with any other carrier do not.  I do believe there are smaller carriers that use the Verizon network, so if cost is an issue, you may want to look into that as well.

With my plan I have never ever had a dropped call, never had a billing error, no complaints with customer service, the phone costs me nothing and the service plan is free.
How can ya beat that?
Did I mention I've never owned a cell phone nor do I plan on owning one.
If I was paying $200 a month; $2400 a year, just over the past 10 years..well, you do the math.
I cannot think of one person I'd want to talk to, living or dead, for $24,000.
