Waders needed for launch at port of west sac?

I'm going to try the port tomorrow and not sure if I need to wear waders or can I launch without stepping knee deep in the water?

I'd wear them, the boat launch is about a 10' wide concrete ramp which you will need to walk the kayak down into the water. Also don't forget to bring your wheels.

No docks at the port. You may be able to go ankle deep if you put the kayak sideways on the ramp. May even be able to  put it sideways on the ramp and sty dry, but don't plan on it. Wear waders.
