Said good bye tonight

I am so sorry to hear that.
In the midst of the grief though, you can know that any of us here should be so lucky as the pets we care for.

 
  Thanks all!  I laid her to rest in my yard this morning, close to my last pet Tc.  I imagine her and Tc are now chasing mice & birds together.
  It is rough, but we'll get through it.
Again thanks for the warm thoughts.
 For those of you that have recently gone through this, I'm sorry to hear it I'm feeling it with you!

My heart goes out to you and yours! Been there and it's one of the hardest things that I've had to go through! Hang in there

Sorry to read about your loss.  Pets are family and as such, it's never easy to say good bye.  We had to say good bye to our 16 year old Cocker last October.  I feel your pain, brother.

One of the hardest things to bear.  I'm sure she had a good life with you.  Pets can be such important parts of our lives.

Sorry for your loss. Made me think of how I haven't hugged my pets lately and looked into there eye's. Just got home and did so.. . I always thought when it is time for me to deal with something like that...would I want to replace them right away?? Thanks for the post to remind of us of are pets Alex

Sorry for your loss.  We put our dog, Georgia, down last year.  It sucked, but I'm forever grateful for the love she gave us.  Pets are family that never complain.
