It's interesting that sometimes I get a much different vibe on a kayak when shooting the shit directly with people, than what I see posted here.  Post up what you do NOT like about the kayak you own, have owned, or have direct experience with.  Please no bashing of other models that you have no direct experience with.

I LOVE my Hobie but definitely envy OKs rod pod.  I wish Hobie had one but realize that it won't happen because of the mirage drive.

The Abaco was HEAVY. Paddled fine though.

I hate all the deck space I lose with the mirage drive.

The PA pods could be an option on the Outback in the future IMO. But who knows what there plans are.

Outback-Hobies suck for paddling but thats pretty obvious. Storage has been the biggest issue with the small hatch, now the square hatch has made a huge difference in that aspect time will tell on that.

When I had my trident my gripe was the rodpod was not the best for keeping water out, they could make that hatch more watertight. Also add a mirage to a trident... LOL

Jackson cuda. Hate how flat the seat is in the high position. Kills my back. Not much usable room on the gunnels. The way the center hatch opens. How flimsy the hatch cover is.

Have a one year old AI and HATE the seat. 6'4" does not fit in the cockpit very gracefully either. Pedals at 7 LOL.

I wish the Tridents had some better forward places for mounting flush mounts. They need a track system. The Mod Pod is great to have for rod holders but if you want to access the hatch you have to take it all down. Great idea here Chief!

I love the Cuda in the high position, and I don't find the hatch cover too flimsy   (although I am not the super rigger that Sonoramike is).

My problem with the Cuda is the way it handles in sloppy ocean conditions, which is due to the high COG and flat bottom. The Cuda is also on the slower side, which I completely expected due to its width (which is why it is so comfortable and has tons of deck space).  After a year of paddling the Cuda 14, I would like to have a second boat with better paddling performance.

Edit:  The weight could also be an issue for some people.  However, I got a lot stronger last year from cartopping my Cuda a few times per week .

I love my Hobie Revo but hate the seat.  I guess I should get an after-market seat.

Me with hobie is the weight and price tag.if they took care of that I think you'll see a lot more hobies

I paddle an '07 Ride135.  for what it is, its great.  What it is is a heavy barge.  Actually tho, I can keep up fairly well with just about any paddle boat, but I wont win any races. Ever.  I often think it would be nice to get a faster boat, but I have grown accustomed to an aircraft carrier amount of deck space and I don't want to give that up.

I love my Hobie(s) that's why I'm peddaling now..I just wish they made a better seat as well. I don't care for Hobies twist and turns hatches either. I also loved my Trident 13 and 11 as well. The rod pod is nice. IMO, the only thing OK was missing for there Tridents were a foot drive! :smt044

I'm trying to think of something that I don't like about my P15s...but I can't really think of anything other than the knuckle-basher side handles....which I hate.
