Interesting. Mine shows San Francisco as 12:44, Rio Vista as 5:08 and Sacramento as 8:24. I am using an app called Hi Tide.

I remember you mentioning this when I ran into you at the Port in December because I had the wrong info while I was talking to Naoaki.  Thanks for posting this.

Does anyone know why they don't agree? The NOAA info says 8:30 also.

About the Tides at the Port - It's better fishing at optimum tide, but you can get lucky there all day, better for me in the afternoon for bigger fish.

And on that note I'll be there around 3pm :smt001

Fished from 6-12 or so. Not even a single bite. I drifted really jumbo minnows high and low and in between. Trolled with a couple different lures all for nada. I was hoping that the rain might help a little. I took a look at the tide on the ramp when I was leaving and it did look to be comming in even though most tide tables say it should still be going out.  :smt102

I decided to take advantage of the afternoon incoming tide around 3:00pm and well .....it paid off with this nice 31" striped beauty! At first the hit was like a catfish but then I guess it realized it was hooked and started to make a run. It ended up wedging me around the concrete pilings with 3/4 of the rod bent over in the water and under the boat... line still peeling off the reel this one took a few minutes to land. The standard sized net wasn't cutting it today and it took two attempts to finally get it in there.

The afternoon crew today consisted of TxBoyESR who also picked up a nice 28" hog (3rd pic below), Novofish, Bones, and MikeE. It was a good afternoon with great NCKA company, spring like temps, and once again zero wind.
