Sounds great, but the devil's usually in the details.  Hope it goes well.

Even this small operation may transfer disease to the ocean area, or some may escape and displace or compete with or mate with some native mussel.  This has happened many times with the movement of fish and organisms  from one body of water to another or on land.  Once it becomes established it may take food from some other species which would have used the plankton to grow, like krill, anchovies, and the food chain they feed up to salmon, tuna, and whales.   Hatchery fish swimming in rivers can take food from  native salmon, steelhead, and trout.  Being raised in ponds, they are used to schooling with many other fish, and that behavior can push native fish away from the best water.
Don't mess with mother nature.

This small operation means nothing, except it may transfer disease to the ocean area, or some may escape and displace some native mussel.  This has happened many times with the movement of fish and organisms  from one body of water to another.  Once it becomes large scale it may take food from some other species which would have used the plankton to grow, like krill, anchovies, and the food chain they feed up to salmon, tuna, and whales which filter plankton.   Hatchery fish swimming in rivers can take food from  native salmon, steelhead, and trout. They can also dilute the genetic diversity.
Don't mess with mother nature.

X10 to that. Nothing worse than the human race thinking they are so much above everything that they need to "save the world". Makes me sick. Get the F#$$%^^K off your high horse people and realize your part in this scheme of things. Much more intelligent creatures in this world than most humans so wake the hell up.........   Dang,  got a little worked up I'd say......sorry...lol
