Kayak Deal at Dick's

FYI - Stopped by Dick's Sporting Goods in Livermore today. They have a Field and Stream brand Eagle Talon 12' SOT on sale for $329.   I've seen some new kayak fishermen posting lately, looking for a first kayak that doesn't break their budget. This kayak looked fairly well made compared to something you might see at Walmart etc.  It's gotten  good reviews for handling, speed and stability. Some negative comments on seat comfort but that can be fixed with some extra padding or an aftermarket seat

the cheaper kayaks are getting nicer and nicer from what I have seen.....for a new guy that may be a deal...sell it later and upgrade etc...
