I decided to hit the port this AM.  A few minnows and at Penny Bait and I was on the water at 8 AM.  I drifted minnows in the Barge Canal for the last 2 hours of the flood and picked up one 18 inch striper.  Back he went....sorry but no picks.  Throughout the day I had several "hit no sticks" and minnow thieves but only the one fish for me today.  I called it a day at 1 PM.  I did meet "Don" on the water.  A new kayaker for about month now with a mango Hobie.  I told him about NCKA and the wealth of info and good friends he could meet.  He told me that he is looking forward to joining our ranks.  A few photos...

The WX was spectacular today.

Don on the move.
