I am trying to be there
Never been.
Is the launch ramp at the campsite? Probably gonna roll in early Sun.

There is no ramp really. You will need wheelies or to borrow someone's. It is a short distance to the water for a surf launch. At high tide it ill be a standard surf launch. If it is low tide you can use an area that is referred to as "Chicken Cove" which has lower surf. You will definitely need access to wheels if you need to walk to chicken cove. I will be bring a set of wheels with me. I will be getting there around 9ish on Sat. I can help anyone that hasn't been to AH and would like pointers.

Don't be giving up all my spots Eric.

Hope you can make it Naoaki.

Who said anything about spots? I was just gonna stand on the beach and point the way to chicken cove  :smt044
Thanks, Eric & James (maybe!?)!
See you tomorrow morning!

Matt and I had a fantastic time on Saturday.  It was just a tad rough on the water and the drift was pretty fast but in a few hours I managed several nice lings and a few rockfish.
Dinner was fantastic with James at the fryer and grill.  Campfire conversation lasted well into the dark before everyone snuck back into their tents or trailers to sleep out the cold night.  Once again my little old pop-up made me happy, especially with a propane heater keeping it a balmy 80 inside  ;)

Jimbo, thanks for the great hotdogs and hot sauce when I got off the water, I was starving and they were delish!

I'll be there next year for sure!
Less Mental than before, Still savage AF tho <3

I had an awesome time on Saturday. I got there about 9am and took my sweet time getting on the water. Like Rockfish said the swell and tide were up. I tried going to one of the spots I have been in the past but the swell was too nasty and I turned back about 3/4 of the way there. I got back with the group and managed to pull in some nice lings and some blacks for that nights dinner.

James's fish fry was freakin amazing. Probably the best fried fish I have had. The octopus and mussels were also awesome. Food and company were great. It really doesn't get better than that. I will be there again next year for sure.
