I'm with Yakhopper.  I'm done when I am done.  I do carry my cell phone in a dry case, just in case.

With 3 kids, and one being a newborn, I'm even lucky to get out to go fish.  I take every opportunity to go rain or shine!

The picture of the watch with attachment looks nice.  Maybe I'll leave a pic of it open on the wife's browser as a X'mas gift hint.

In the mean time, I'll attach my cheap timex watch to my PFD.  Thanks for the tips guys!

FF with GPS....has a clock :smt003

I thought I set this up correctly the last time, but I guess I didn't.  I think I only saw depth and water temp on the sonar screen.  I'll have to play with it more, but with the small font, I think it will be harder to glance and read it.

I'm right there with you brother, two munchkins w/ one in the oven.  If I get that window of opportunity, even just for an hour or two, rain/shine/wind/ice/dark....it don't matter, just fish!
Someday we'll be able to hit the water without having to punch in/out on a timecard! :smt003

If you're on a time limit and its not a tourney, don't ask to fish with me.
We'll be home when we're done.
My wife learned this a long time ago ;0)

There's no cell service up here on the coast. I always tell my wife which beach I'm launching from and when to expect me home. I usually say I will be home a couple hours later than I actually intend to be. That's why I carry a watch.

on the HB 365i, i have to go to the GPS calibration screen, cant get it on the sonar screen, but its 4 quick taps to check time, and im with chadrock, no service on the coast, so place a pin in the map in the mancave of where i will be and a time to expect to hear from me, especially since i go solo alot, and if she doesnt hear from me call coast guard and tell them where i was at, cameron

I use a spot to inform wife I'm ok. She gets a beep with GPS location. Why not set your alarm on your phone? Can't you hear it through the case.

I just got the clip watch from REI today. It seems pretty good but I have some concern about some fumbling with the tiny buttons on the sides and part of the attachment point seems a bit weak. Only time will tell.
