I figure I fish on average about 3-4 days a week so daily it's under .50 a trip. Well worth it.

My goal is to get it around .25 a trip. This year I have a really great chance and a work schedule

The license itself is only 12feet long this year.

Got mine in the mail last week.  I ponied up and got a lifetime license a few yrs back.  I think the  break even time was 11 yrs.   

If your a Disabled Vet you get discounted. It's been free for years and think they started charging just this year or last. Not much and I still have to purchase stamps.

OH!!! But, don't forget all they do for your money. As Mike Tyson said,"I'm ecstatic!" Just CA getting more n more from us.

It's going to stop when Fish and Wildlife outlaw fishing. because you can feed your family on the cheep. Remember who runs fish and wildlife. I have a sticker on my truck that states "VOTE YOUR SPORT"

Nobody at Fish and Wildlife wants to outlaw fishing.  As far as I am aware most F&W employees hunt and/or fish. 

The current fee isn't cost prohibitive for me, and I am willing to wager that I make less money than most people on the boards.

Its like gasoline you can bitch about the price but gonna pay for it anyway. What's the point? Go fish.
