I think I am pretty squared away.  Paid in full.  Sounds like we will mostly be fishing live bait and swim baits in the kelp, but I’ll likely pick up a few last minute jigs and such in SD. Still hoping for YT.

Andy.  I will be leaving one week early and vacationing with wife and friends. I likely may not see you until Friday evening when we meet at the harbor, but will bring my T13 for Kris.

Cant wait to meet everyone and hit the water. I am so excited!!!!!

BTW - I have a bunch of Salas 6X that I will be bringing to hand out. I have somehow accumulated a ton of them and the only time I've ever used one was for 45 minutes or so down in Baja and for like the last 30 minutes of the trip last year.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

I'll bring the boat, paddle, and seat. The seat is the stock OK seat. Not very comfy. If you have a nicer seat I would bring it.

My spot just opened up too, and I'm really bummed. My daughter is graduating high school the night before the trip and I must be present to do Dad stuff that weekend for her party. I just can't ditch my wife and leave it all to her for something so important. Definitely going next year.

Fewer people = less time waiting to get in the water.   :smt003

Hey Y'all, I was just confirming dates and planing for the trip and I noticed on the Islander website that they have this down as a 2.5 day trip June 6-9 @ $545. That prompted me to call OEX and they confirmed that 2.5 day June 6-9 is correct.

Did I miss something  :smt120 ... did the dates/duration change? The first page of this thread still say's 3.5 days June 6-10.
