Yup, all the time in inland waters, lakes and rivers. I always think twice about when I dangle in the ocean but it usually won't stop me from doing so. Helps with stability and being able to reach around to gear in the back.  But there's always that thought. My name is joe, and I dangle lol

No problem with me.  I'm so short my feet don't touch the water.   

I dangle mostly when doing #1. I always side saddle when reaching behind. Learned my lesson the hard way when I tried reaching behind a few years back.

It depends on what I doing. If I am adjusting something in the yak and not in the seat I dangle for the added stability. If I am just sitting there fishing I don't normally dangle.  If I am feeling hot I will dangle to lower temp.

In short, it depends on the situation.

I dangle once in awhile when in the saddle for many hours and I get numb - otherwise I will sit sideways to access the back deck and tackle behind my seat in the X-Factor.
