Targeted ads on the forum

Try Cosmopolitan? Really? Does the algorithm need a little tweaking or is there something about this forum I don't know? 

More often than not the ads are targeted at YOUR viewing habits.  So, what have you been perusing or what have you been searching for?

My ads are Cabela's and Scotty.

If you download a program called "Ghostery", most ads will go away. The big benefit is how most videos will play without the annoying add before it starts.

  Are you referring to the bar at the top and the side bar space?     I've never been to any of these sites,,, yet they repeatedly cycle on this website

There are a mix of paid ads and Google Ads on the site.  For any strange ones you see, check if there is a logo in the upper right that says AdChoices with a blue triangle next to it.  Click on the blue triangle and you'll get all sorts of info on where that ad is coming from.

You do not have to search for the exact company or match to get ads served up.  Let's say you searched for diamond rings to get for your honey for Christmas.  It is conceivable that companies like Cosmo may targets jewelry searchers.  You get the picture ...

i had adblock before. but it didnt work on everything. just got this and it works better. thanks man
