I'd like to join you guys too if you don't mine a newbie.  This is the other Herb from Daly City too.

Yea of course, feel free to come join us.  Not to be a buzz kill or anything, but as long as you have the necessary safety gear and dress for immersion, then you should be ok.  See you there.

Just checked and current forecast is showing the following.  Not too bad, hoping the rain will hold off but I don't mind a little sprinkle.   

Wednesday: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Mostly sunny. Mixed swell...W 2 ft and SSW 1 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

Wednesday Night: SSW wind around 6 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt in the evening. A slight chance of rain. Mixed swell...W 6 ft and SSW 1 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

Thanksgiving Day: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming ESE 6 to 11 kt in the morning. A slight chance of rain. Mixed swell...W 7 ft and SSW 1 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

Wednesday morning looks doable but Wednesday night expect 9-10ft swell rolling in.  Thursday morning also forecasting huge swells (9-10ft).

That link shows 7-8 foot swells at a long 13-15 seconds on Thursday.  As long as the wind is ok, that swell is very doable.

Damn, pretty early.  I was planning on getting there a little later, but I just might head up early since I get off work early tomorrow.  I'll shoot for 4/5pm too.
