I am thinking of hitting Doran this Saturday possibly farther north to do so rock fishing also. Looks like it will be a windy but the water shouldn't be too bad. Being this far out the trip is still dependent on the weather but throwing it out there.

Thinking about OC / TC.
Don't have crab traps, so no crabs for me...
The weather suppose to be very good on Sun (~2ft swell / less than 10mph wind).

Sensei, let me know if you'd like to borrow my crab gear - I'm taking the weekend off. I'll be passing by Sac this weekend. Can drop them off Friday and pick them up Sunday.

The wind forecast is looking pretty calm this weekend at TC, so I may try dropping the crab traps in the deep water (200 feet) where the locals have been pulling out lots of big crabs.  Drop them Sat AM then pull them up in the afternoon. Only if the water is calm!

You're the crab sensei, Jason!!!

Thank you so much for the offer tho.
So I'm still thinking about OC/TC wherever available...

I'm gonna hit it Sunday. Probably TC. Then Doran on the way back to check the pots. Should have over limits if anyone wants to pull them with me.

I would love to Ruben but the wife will only let me out of the house once this weekend :smt011. Looks like I will be hitting Doran on Saturday. Got a party I am supposed to go to in the afternoon so hoping for a relatively quick limit.

I'll be spending Sunday hanging out with the family and brother-in-law and sister-in-law at DB and do some crabbing.  Look for my B-I-L's Sea Eagle inflatable and say hi.  I may take the family to TC on Monday if anyone is interested in getting together.  It will probably be late morning.  It will be my 1st time there and 3rd time on the salt so company would be welcome.

I and a few other guys will be at my house at timber Cove Friday and Saturday nights. Not sure where were fishing out of yet. If anyone wants to crash p.m. me for directions before I am out of cell range at around 5 PM today.
