Waders or wet suit?

Hi

I'm new to kayaking and new here

I'm 6' 4'' 230 pounds a larger man, any suggestions from the members.
 
I want to be safe.

Waders would make more sense for me because I could use them for river fishing when I'm not using the kayak.

Both in my opinion. Dress for immersion. wear a farmer john suitable for our cold water and u can get the thin breathable waders to wear as splash gear to keep u dry.

Sweetwater or Saltwater? IMO it makes a huge difference, sweet water you can do a little less, saltwater you can't fool around.
