I like my Stohlquist - there are many brands and models, so try something out and maybe use the search feature here to find other info specific to your needs.

Good luck.   :smt001

I like my Stohlquist Fisherman. But definitely go try them on to see what fits your frame best.

I went cheap on my first 2 PFDs and thought nothing of the fit and comfort.  I then snagged a great deal off CL for a Stohlquist and the difference was amazing.  I will always buy a Stohlquist or similar fishing PFD from now on.

Don't make fun of me, but I got the Ascend PFD sold by BPS. I bought it after I found out it was made by Stohlquist. The design is almost identical to the Stohlquist Fisherman.
I believe I paid $70 for it a few months ago.
I love it so far. Very comfy and of coarse keeps me afloat:)

I just ordered a Stohlquist Fisherman today from ACK. The reviews are good and I like that the pockets are closed so your gear doesn't catch on them. I didn't try it on :( because my local stores didn't have one in stock. Just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

I paid $85 shipped. It's on sale for $99 and someone gave me a discount code. I don't know if it'll work again but PM me for it if you're interested.
