Very sad.Any more info? Around Chico is pretty vague, since Chico isn't around anywhere else unless they mean somewhere like Nord or Durham or Paradise in which case such information would be very helpful. Sincerely, Amos

My understanding is that the family lives in Chico. Law enforcement and family are looking all over the "Chico area" but in this day and age, sad to say there is no telling! I just figured this group covers a large area in Calif. and outside the state and it couldn't hurt to pass this info along in hopes one of us may see something that could help this child.

This isn't posted to any of the local news services or the DoJ website, I would highly recommend someone start calling the local news, that is a much more effective way of getting coverage. As a parent of three, this is about my second worst nightmare, prayers are going out..

Her name didn't pop up upon completing an Amber Alert search.  Weird.

I'm not saying this isn't real, but I see a lot of "junk" on FB.  People share other people's feeds without really knowing if its true or not.  Mostly missing people or some other sad story deal.  Its almost like chain mail back in the days, except its a massive FB sharing.

I sure hope they find her though.  Prayers go out to the family.

Hoping she is safe as well.  I couldn't find anything on the web about her or any missing child in Chico (was a 10-yr old boy missing in Oroville a few days back), and our search/rescue team hasn't been notified of anything.  I'm on the Shasta Co team, and we will assist Butte County on mutual aid if they need us.  Hopefully like others mentioned its just something re-circulated on FB.
