Should I leave my trailer home and just stuff the Pro Angler in the back of my wife's Trailblazer?  Would that help at all with parking at the bottom?  It's just a small jetski trailer but if it will help I'll leave it at the house!

If you bring a trailer, be careful as there is not much room to turn around.  Last time I saw a guy with a trailer at the bottom, he
was red in the face, and called kayakers as bad a bicyclists.

Thanks Kahuna!  That'll probably be the plan.  I like not having to ride around with the back hatch of the SUV open!  I use a bed extender so it does work well but can be a little noisy! LOL

I don't worry about turning around too much.  Like I said, it's a jetski trailer so in a worse case scenario I just unhook it from the SUV and spin it around by hand.  It weighs nothing!

Might stop by with Derik on Saturday, Andy, but I can't fish.

SCSS is meeting on Sunday.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

When all parking is full at the launch site, it can be a hassle for a trailer. Just from my observations.
You got wheeleze? Roll it down from the upper parking area?

I do have the Hobie heavy duty scupper cart.  Wheeling it down shouldn't be too much of a problem but getting it back up that hill would be one hell of a chore!!!!  The PA is 120lbs empty with no gear.  I won't be packing much gear but I plan to have it full of fish when I get back to the hill!! LOL

I'll be at the launch early enough that I'll have it offloaded and be parked back up the hill.  If I have to I'll just wait everyone out when it's time to leave and then bring the trailer down to load back up.  I'm hoping to be on the beach well before daylight so that I can have the boat unloaded and by the waters edge before the majority of the people show up.  Being a newbie to the Pacific I don't want to be in anyones way or have to make anyone wait on me.  Not to mention I'll be triple checking my checklist before launching.  I'm sure there will be kinks to work out on this initial voyage.
