Update from Mooch's Sister

Heard some great news today from Joel's sister Rachel...

As some of you may know Joel was very concerned that his passing would not be a burden to his family and that his final expenses were not a hardship on them...

Rachel shared:

"I have some good news for you all...funds collected from NCKA over the last 4 years covered his funeral expenses, which Joel (in a note I found in his black money case) made sure he didn't leave the family with that burden...I just want to cry in joy today!!!! Thanks NCKA!!!!!

Feel humbled and honored to be a part of this group. I know Joel is smiling down very happy with the news that his final expenses will not be a burden on his family.

Rachel asked that I share on NCKA and make sure you all knew how grateful she and all of Joel's family is for our help and support.

I'm getting  .  Really going to miss him at the HMB crab opening day which he has always made every year since he got sick.  At Del Valle several weeks ago he talked about how he was looking forward to making that. 

From Rachel:

"I wasn't really ready to go through his stuff today but the hospice came by to pick up his bed and stuff...found the box under the bed...geez Joel, old style banking!!!

Please someone post on the the NCKA site and let everyone know how thankful our family is to all of you.

Joel is so blessed to be in your circle of friends : ) "
