Hey guys gonna try out San Pablo bay for the first time with my brother this sat late afternoon on the yak fishing with live bait, then stay out till night with some lights for night fishing. Gonna launch somewhere around the Pinole area. Anybody know a good spots to launch? any advice? its gonna be our first time on the ocean. Looks pretty calm everytime I pass by. Thanks in advance!

The only launch I know of I'd at the richmond rod and gun club. The little dirt road is public but the boat launch itself belongs to the gun club.there are a few small parks along the shoreline with two people would be very easy.down side is some of the shore area at low tide is very low.like a foot if your lucky if not your dragging through mud.I think there is a park area at the end of willow st you could maybe launch from.grassshrimp, pile and blood worm will catch fish. But the last few weeks we've been using bullheads.swimbaits, hairaiser and big kastmaster (1oz) will also catch fish.goodluck and be safe

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

yeah probably gonna drive along shore to look for a place to carry yaks in.high tide should be around 2:30 so I think we should be good. gonna try to grab some bullheads on the way up there. Thanks for the input dune12!
