You made a bold step and now the work begins.  There are several of Bill's friends in NCKA.  We are the ones that
are always up early fishing the day of the event, and then up early the day after the event ready to go.  No hangovers.

also nice to be able to remember your PFD, Paddle, etc... not losing keys in the sand etc...  just better not to have that handicap....   

  ConGrats again and don't be afraid of that 500lb phone....  gets lighter and lighter when ya start using it....

I am as well and all I know are...mom has 52 yrs.. 2 of 5 brothers are holding down 20's...me and my Gal walk this together..life is great now...

Admitting and quitting is one of the things you can look back on and NEVER be sorry you did.

It takes a real man to know when he needs help. Good for you, if you ever feel like your gonna slip and need a sober person to hang with, let me know. I'm always there for those that need help or just someone to hang with.

see and I thought everyone I would bump into as I started this kayak thing would have a giant  beer and a joint in one hand and fishing pole in the other.....not that I care...more power to ya...enjoy.......but surprising to find out I'm not the only one out fishing and enjoying life 'now' mainly/only due to the fact that I turned from the struggles I had going in my life....go figure

I reflect on it too every outing...when I was out on the bay yesterday- listening to a Hendrix Monterey pop 1968  show on KZSC and floating along catching fish and seeing all the wild life-the clouds painted on the santa cruz crest....that life is for me... a choice of where I want to be and can go either way based on my choices ....I've even been known to say a thank you prayer out there in the beauty of it all
