Can someone do a "clinic" on how to kill and then clean and fillet a salmon.  I have never killed or cleaned a fish in my life and would like to learn how.  I am a strict catch and release fisherman, but my wife does nag me every now and then to bring home some fish.

I would also like to know what is the fastest and most humane way to dispatch a fish while on my kayak.  I know I sound like a wussy, but I hate seeing animals in pain, and the quicker I can kill the fish, the better I will feel.  I would like to bring home some fish to me wife if I get lucky and catch one.

If someone catches a fish I would be happy to show you how to clean it.

I usually bleed my fish for better meat/roe quality, but that takes some time.  You could always brain it for a quick dispatch.

I think the fastest an most human is to knock him over the head, put a "brain pick" hook shape piece of steel through its skull an twist it.  In vermilions when this is done they turn a almost white sometimes pink color you instantly kill the fish an I always pop a gill an hang upside down to bleed them out.

Absolutely.  I will have the exact cost once I can get the images to the screen printing shop.

I can't take any credit for it.  Skinner turned this around for me in 48 hours.  I'll have a mockup by the end of the week.

Sweet shirt design. Looks like a December Zombie as we call them....

Nothin like steelie fishing and you step through the decaying carcass of one of those stinky bastards. Leaves a beautiful aroma on your waders.
