my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

I'm planning on attending but can someone tell me what tackle to bring? Is this a barbless area? What do the salmon bite on around here? Are there any fees for parking and launch?

Hopefully there is a large shirt left I can buy looks pretty sweet!

Yes fees are 8 bucks a car. There is a parking kiosk that takes cash or cards.

Barbs are not just allowed but recommended.

Park opens early, see u there..

Dude they hit all kinds of spinners.

Kfish are just the go to and Mepps that James throws are great. Number 5s. And his have another name, somewhere on this thread. Fishermans has it all, and some Walmarts do also.

If u can't find ny sure someone on the water will have an extra.
I'm also gonna troll some I got from Ricci last year.

So I have a novice question. ...if a salmon actually bites, do you have to set the hook? Do you let line out or keep it taunt?
Another thought....the barbs on lures have to be removed, right?

1. Usually no, but it doesn't hurt if your drag isn't too tight
2. Set drag to 2/3 line strength and keep pressure on the fish
3. Barbs are cool on this section of the river
