Right on. I also quite a couple years ago. I feel great, and don't miss it a bit. CIGARETTE SMOKING SUCKS!

I like that and so does your family. Being I had a double lung transplant I know first had what it is when that smoke finely attacks your lungs. No it wasn't from smoking it was because of cystic fibrosis. I wish every smoker went through what I did for a week and the tobacco companies would be out of business. I am impressed with your decision.

  Both of my parents smoked.  I remember gasping for air while stuck in the back seat of their car.   Then restaurants began the "smoking / non smoking" sections, which only meant there was or wasn't an ashtray on the table.   Some had an imaginary line that the smoke wasn't supposed to cross           That convinced me to never start.   

    Sometimes I wonder do smokers even know how obnoxious that is?      You can smell it from a half mile away or more OTW.      So if you see me paddling the other way ,,, it's not because I'm unsociable , I just love the smell of clean ocean air...     

 

My Dad finally quit in January after who knows how many years.

 

  Good for you!  Took a heart attack to get my mom to quit cold turkey almost 20 years ago now.

Congrats!  that is one tough addition to kick!

Congrats Howard!  I stopped smoking cigs when I turned 18...
