Half Moon Bay launch & fish Thursday 8-29-13

Got the day off tomorrow, was going to give Half Moon Bay a shot. Launched out of HMBK a bunch, but have seen a spot over by the old pier on the NW side of the harbor, and a few public parking spots there. Could be less of a paddle to the mouth of the Jetty - has anyone had problems parking there?

Coming from the East Bay, traffic on the San Mateo bridge might be nuts due to the Bay Bridge closure tonight. I'll be trying to arrive around sunrise, but traffic could be unpredictable. Company is MOST welcome. Weather doesn't look too bad. Cheers!

What time are you launching? 

Shicken - I'd love to be getting there no later than 7am, but I have no idea what traffic is going to be like on the San Mateo bridge - bay bridge closes TONIGHT. Seeing that hwy92 is the next closest route for folks heading into the city, it could take me an extra hour to get there - but who knows. 510-406-2550 is my cell, feel free to call and check in. If I don't answer, then I'm on the water. Hoping to be on the road from Hayward at 5:30am or so.
