Well good sense prevailed finally.  Looks like the belly boat bass club from the other thread has decided to let me fish tomorrow!  I guess they decided to honor their own club by-laws and not change the rules to exclude me mid season.  Word is that I'll be allowed to fish the rest of the tournaments this year and then there will be a vote on whether or not to exclude kayaks from next years events once this season wraps up.

If any on you guys would like to join us for the next three events feel free!! It would be nice to have at least one person there as an ally!!! LOL

Hopefully I'll have a good report to put up in the Reports Section tomorrow afternoon!  I've never fished the North end of the lake by Putah Creek but I'm going to go give 'em hell anyway!!

Berryessa is tomorrow.

August 24: Berryessa - Chapparell Cove
Sept 28th & 29th: Clear Lake Classic

Nov 2nd: Clear Lake - County Park

Must have at least a 48qt plumbed livewell with overflow, 500gph aerator pump, and bubblers are optional.  There are specs and directions for build on the forum.

Good luck and post a picture of your livewell if you can.  I'm working on mine and love looking at other's, for better ideas.

48qts of water is 100 pounds! I can see why you are pedaling a PA now.

Tomorrow is a Koke tourney there so watch out for pb's. I would like to join you for the remaining tourneys, but the live well thing kinda puts a damper on that. Don't want to add that much weight to any of my boats. I could do it in my Ride I guess. What can I win at these events?

They are cash prize tourneys.  You can also win a trophy for 1st, a plaque for 2cd, and a medal (like Olympics) for 3rd along with the cash payout.  We had 13 teams at the last tourney and it paid 400 for 1st. They aren't normally team events.

umm you could win it all. Lol I'm sure after you showed they would ban all kayaks!!! They wanted to adjust there rules to ban the mirage drive. So rob paddle slow its not a drag race!!!

How does one put a 48qt live well on a float tube?pics please
