thanks Rob, will try to be there with my tan-tum yak (2 people hobbie) what time are we kicking this off? still need to ask the boss for the day off but i don't thin that is a problem.

VA will probably show around 9:30, bankers hours, no pun intended...   

get there when ya can, we'll help ya out with the yak, ya know about Quagga Musxle inspection, no moisture in yak or pfd...

don't know yet if we have to pay for that, but you will need to purchase a daily fishing permit..

I think catfish will be the target, or bass..  whatever hits the line... Sturgeon?

Were close and things look like there coming along just fine....

  Kayakjack has Breakfast Burritos....

I'm picking up Burgers, Dogs, Buns, fixens, chips, some drinks, coffee  (Peets Italian Roast) for 40 to 50....

I will check my paper plate, utensil stock...

anyone wanting to add to this is more than welcome...

Extra Yaks:

Kathy from Delta Adventures is bringing 3 tandems and unknown amount of singles...

we need to help her unload and set up...

I have my four Hobies...

I'm also working on the SPR fleet of yaks already there...

if you have an extra yak, please add to the pile and mark your gear,,, paddles, pfds..

Quagga muscle is still a mystery as I have not heard back from the Admin at SPR other than were good to come...

Fees  $$$:

I would expect, entrance is waived and hopefully they will do the quagga muscle inspection for us...

I think they just relax on checking parking permits the day of the event, but if you want to make sure your identified with HOW and not a bad idea, print out this flyer and put on your dash.. see me if you forgot to do this and need one, I will have extras at the event...

If you do buy something for the event, I can reimburse you, but I need the recite to be " clean "..  meaning no personal items or cash back on said recite ...

Great news!!!

All fees are waived except the fishing permit and they are going to take down the chain gate for us to unload and load...  they are also going to have 3 staff personal helping out with inspection so this should go just fine...

If your yak does not pass, no worries, thank them and we will get by...

They are also letting us use their kayaks already there...  looking good...

I'm going to bring power bait and some catfish bait in the way of old herring and some dead anchovies for the kitties...

* We also need a Captain and he or she will probably need an First Mate for the patio barge that SPR is also letting us use....

This will be for those who can not use a kayak and want to get out on the water,  not to mention on the water support..

San Pablo Reservoir is knocking it out of the park!!!

I have LOTS of plates, utensils, styro cups, napkins, from this last weekend donated to HOW. We are covered for that. I will bring 2 extra kayaks this time and gear. If you need a captain for the patio I can do it. I would like the kayak better, but I am better than average with power boats to say the least. See you there. I will need to cut out when we are done this time. Duck opener on Sat and I need to go somewhere for that Fri night.
